Executive VP & Chief Client Officer
Ms. Karamchandani is currently an Executive Vice President and Chief Client Officer at Cedar Gate Technologies, Inc., a healthcare predictive and prescriptive analytics company in the "big data, big math", Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) space. In this capacity, she leads a team of people who work, in a consultative manner, with Cedar Gate clients to ensure their success in the Risk Based contracts in which they participate. Towards that end, Ms. Karamchandani’ s team helps with identifying and executing on financial, network, clinical and quality programs that result in favorable MLR and financial outcomes.
Prior to joining Cedar Gate Technologies as one of the first employees, Ms. Karamchandani was the Vice President of Analytics & Information Management at Health Care Service Corporation, which includes the five Blue Cross & Blue Shield Plans in Illinois, Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Montana. There, she led the development and execution of an advanced analytics strategy that enabled HCSC to respond to health reform, accelerate business insight delivery by 30%, engage in multiple new fee-for-value programs with providers, enter the Medicare Advantage market and advance consumer intelligence for the Retail Health business unit. Prior to HCSC, Ms. Karamchandani was a leader at IBM in their healthcare and software divisions and at Blue Cross Blue Shield Association where she drove the transformation of their brand strategy. She has an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and completed her undergraduate education at the University of Illinois.
